Alaska Hunting Regulations

One copy for each member, plus personal notes on specifics that will apply to your hunting area and game management unit.
Licensing arrangements will be made through the Alaska Department of Fish and Game before your arrival based on primary game and incidentals that may be possible.

Accommodations in Alaska are arranged and secured for you:

Reputable and respected air guide and transport services are selected utilizing my personal experience and judgment. I will handle the forwarding of deposits to ensure that your hunt dates are booked.

Ground transportation upon arrival

Car or van rentals secured, if necessary or desired

Lodging on arrival and return from hunt

Reservations secured for you with your budget and preferences honored

Last-minute shopping for the hunt is taken care of in Alaska

Licenses, meals, snacks, camera film, forgotten or lost items

Expediting of your trophy and meat arranged

Antlers packed for shipping

Meat processed locally, or packed for safe shipment

Donation of excess meat upon return from the bush is arranged

Allows you to ship-ahead bulky gear for pick-up upon arrival in Alaska.
No fee for storage of gear.

Gear rentals (optional)

Outfitted gear for float hunts (if applicable) are arranged before your arrival
Cumbersome travel items can be rented on a daily basis from my inventory

Large Outfitter/Guide tent - $15 per day

Reliable stove and fuel - $6 per day

Wiggy’s brand sleeping bags/pads - $8 per day

Cooking kit, complete - $4 per day

Bear resistant food containers - $4 per day

It is the mission of Hunting Hard – Alaska Adventures to assist the visiting hunter in creating a memorable experience in the Alaska outdoors through sound planning and arrangement of the tedious tasks that can detract from an otherwise fulfilling experience. We offer information based upon experience and successful practices, and are not engaging in or offering Licensed Guide Services.

Hunting Hard – Alaska Adventures will seek areas for its clients which are not suspected to be over-frequented by other hunters. Alaska is a vast wilderness; however it contains fewer game animals per square mile than most states. You must hunt hard in order to be successful, and the guarantee that you will not contact other hunters cannot be made. Every effort will be made to provide you with a rewarding and memorable hunting experience but there are no guarantees of success, or success rates implied or inferred.

I have been very fortunate in my Alaska adventures. I am extending to you my knowledge in order that you may create your own adventure without the hassle that the logistical challenges of an Alaska hunt may cause. Your reward for a successful Alaska hunt will be a memory that will be treasured for a lifetime.
